Join the Capital District Psychiatric Center Nursing Team!Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.Capital District Psychiatric Center (CDPC) had immediate job opportunities for Register Nurses (RN), previous psychiatric experience is not required.Nurses at CDPC are vital members of a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing compassionate care through patient-centered and recovery-focused mental health services to individuals with serious mental illness including:Coordinating and providing nursing careConducting nursing assessmentsPreparing, implementing, and modifying nursing care plansProviding health teaching, counseling, and education to individuals and familiesImplementing infection control protocols and proceduresObserving and recording individuals' symptoms and care; reporting responses to medications or changes in healthCDPC, a Joint Commission accredited Office of Mental Health (OMH) facility, provides inpatient and outpatient treatment and rehabilitation to adults who have been diagnosed with serious mental illness, outpatient treatment services for children and adolescents diagnosed with serious emotional disturbances, and operates adult community residences in the Albany/Capital District area.
