These goals and objectives are generally described as maximizing customer satisfaction, by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems to drive sales revenue. Primary Responsibilities of Customer Service • Handle incoming sales orders and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.• Develop strong customer relationships by handling customer questions and issues and follow through on issues to a resolution.• Has thorough knowledge of Mirka's products and services, and keeps current information on pricing and promotions • Works closely with other groups such as Production, Product Management, Credit, and Shipping to meet goals• Use company systems accurately which may include multiple platforms, order entries, phone and chat systems and other data functions• Supports sales team requests for reports, inventory questions, and complaint follow-upsRequirementsQualifications and Competencies (education, experience, skills) To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.2-3 years prior experience in customer service or inside sales in a related industryAbility to interpret documents such as procedure manuals and work instructions.Ability to problem solve, make independent decisions, and troubleshoot issues for internal and external customersExceptional verbal and written communication skills with confidence and professionalismExcellent data entry skills Ability to multi-task while remaining productive and accurate.Excellent follow-through and documentation skills in resolving problems and issues.Experience using ERP software and MS Office productsGood organizational skills.
