Key Responsibilities: Process and oversee payroll for a large and complex workforce, including unionized employees. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Conduct testing and implementation of new payroll software and system enhancements. Analyze and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues efficiently. Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to optimize payroll processes. Maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports as needed. Qualifications: 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a government or large enterprise setting. Strong knowledge of union payroll processing and labor agreements. Expertise in payroll systems and the ability to conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for new software implementations. Familiarity with federal and state payroll regulations.
