About the Company:Our client is a rapidly growing distribution business who are looking to add a Corporate Credit Control Manager to their team. The company has enjoyed incredible success in the last few years' and are seeking a candidate with a Credit Control management background who ideally has started a and grown a team from scratch. Role info: The Credit & Collections Manager is responsible for overseeing the credit and collections activities of the company with the goal of managing credit risk, maximizing cash flow and maintaining good customer relationships. This role will lead and motivate a team of credit and collections specialists, monitor performance, and implement best practices. Responsibilities: Manage the credit and collections team, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct performance appraisals Analyze customer creditworthiness and establish credit limits based on financial data, payment history, and industry trends Monitor and report on the status of accounts receivable, aging, and collections activities Negotiate payment plans and settlements with delinquent customers and initiate legal actions when necessary Coordinate with sales, customer service, and other departments on customer issues Improve credit and collections and billing processes and systems in accordance with company objectives, industry standards and best practices Prepare and review monthly and quarterly reports on credit and collections performance Define corporate credit and collections policies and procedures Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to credit and collections Requirements: Over five years of credit and collections experience in a large organization Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field Experience building and managing high performance credit and collections teams Strong financial analysis skills and a good understanding of accounting principles, credit analysis, collections techniques, internal controls, bankruptcy knowledge and creditor rights Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), accounting software and credit reporting tools (e.g., D&B) Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Attention to detail and accuracy #LI-DG1#INMAR2025#ZRCFS#LI-Hybrid
