Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant: Reconcile operating and payroll bank accounts to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies. Conduct general ledger reconciliations for various accounts to support timely financial close processes. Calculate and post journal entries for accurate financial reporting. Maintain and manage Excel spreadsheets for audit support and internal inquiries. Assist in analyzing manufacturing cost data, inventory valuations, and overhead allocations. Provide general accounting support to the finance team to ensure smooth monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings. Support the preparation and review of financial reports for management and external stakeholders. Perform other accounting duties as assigned, including special projects and report preparation. Desired Qualifications of the Staff Accountant: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. 3+ years accounting experience. Cost accounting experience a plus. Knowledge of GAAP. Strong Excel.
