Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a clinical stage biotech company to identify a Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. Highlights of the Accounts Payable Manager Opportunity: The Company: US division of a global pharmaceutical company focused on developing biologics for immune-mediated and hard-to-treat diseases. Growth: Our client has a strong pipeline in place with one therapy in Phase 3 clinical trial and other therapies in Phases 1 and 2. Position: Reporting to the Controller, this Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the accounts payable team, manage payables, and ensure accurate processing in the company's ERP system. Responsibilities include reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, and resolving purchasing and billing disputes. This is an onsite position. The Accounts Payable Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and reconciliations. Ensure timely and accurate payments while maintaining proper recordkeeping. Review invoice approvals and coding in the ERP system. Manage vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and address inquiries. Monitor the accounts payable inbox and support employees and vendors. Maintain compliance with company policies for vendor onboarding and due diligence. Support audits, tax preparation, and process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. 3+ years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience; 1+ years of supervisory experience Strong organizational, supervisory, and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus.
