This position allows hybrid work, but requires flexibility to be on-site 2-3 days a week.We're seeking a dynamic and resourceful Vice President of Finance to join our growing activewear business. This leadership role will drive the company's financial planning and analysis efforts while fostering the growth and development of the Finance team. They will partner closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams to optimize profitability, streamline operations, and identify key business risks and opportunities.Responsibilities:• Collaborate with CFO and COO on strategic initiatives to achieve financial targets and corporate goals• Collaborating with CFO on risk management, achieving monthly sales targets, and assigning actions when necessary• Responsible for the consolidation of Sales and Margin plans across all brands, providing insightful variance analysis for deep business understanding, in partnership with Planning and Sales teams• Own the rolling forecast of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow• Oversee order book against sales and margin plans, ensuring performance against budget and forecast• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional partners in Production, Planning, Merchandising, and Sales• Work with cross-functional leads to develop channel, brand, and customer profitability analyses• Collaborate with divisional planners to identify business risks and opportunities to maximize sales, profitability, and inventory turn objectives as part of the forecast process• Work closely with EVP Sales and CFO to ensure accurate royalty reporting• Drive inventory ATS strategies with Sales team to improve turns and maximize sales• Working with Operations, monitor daily booking trends and reporting, analyze and track holds and move-ups to identify risks and opportunities• Own reporting by developing automation for improved business analysis• Conduct monthly variance analysis by customer and business line vs Budget and LY to understand key business drivers• Partner with CFO and COO to develop standard reporting and analysis tools; drive standardization process and best practices that support key planning initiatives• Engage the AR team to maximize cash flow and minimize chargeback write offs• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the finance team, promoting professional development and growth opportunitiesQualifications:• Bachelor's Degree; MBA and CPA preferred• 15+ years' experience leading and developing financial strategies• 10+ years' wholesale experience in apparel andor consumer products is required with extensive knowledge of inventory management and Accounts Receivable• Experience in leading key strategic initiatives and supporting change management objectives• Proven knowledge of licensing and insurance• Strong analytical and business acumen• Advanced Excel skills• SAP experience• Collaborative ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams• Excellent organizational and communication skillsAnnual salary starting at $200,000.The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package.
