Merchandise Planning & Analysis Manager | MarmaxxWant to make an impact?As part of our team within Marmaxx Finance, you will be part of the Merchandise Planning & Analysis team supporting the Merchant and Buying organization to help drive business decisions. Day-to-day, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic decisions for the leading off-price retailer in the world.A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously that will be reviewed by Senior Executives. Further, thinking critically, analyzing effectively and communicating efficiently is required.Responsibilities include:Play a leadership role on a dynamic finance team in Merchandise Planning & Analysis and ensure effective, efficient and accurate forecastingModernize reporting by implementing new data visualization tools like Power BIProvide analytics around sales, retail and inventory metricsDrive the business through providing inventory guidance & modeling merchandise flow through our supply chain and into storesDeliver strategy presentations with strong messaging and recommendations to senior leadershipOversee & perform financial forecasting & reporting with excellent attention to detailDeliver key financial updates along with sales & inventory trends to CFO & senior merchantsPerform ad-hoc analysis to provide influential Executive-level guidance on business performance and areas of risk and opportunityFoster a collaborative culture through building relationships with partners across the business, such as Operational Groups, Merchandising & parallel finance groupsPlay a leadership role on projects & new initiatives for the teamRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related fieldAt least 5 years of experience working in a business planning andor finance environmentPrior experience leading teams in a dynamic, fast paced environmentStrong communication skills with an ability to acquire and analyze information and draw business solutionsPrior experience with leading a team in enhancing use of data visualization tools like Power BIAble to concisely and effectively deliver insights, recommendations, and results to Executive Level managementAbility to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage constantly evolving assignments in a team environmentExcellent quantitative and analytical skills, and reporting on large amounts of dataHigh level of curiosity to explore, learn and understand business informationExcellent attention to detailProficient PC skills: Microsoft Office Excel & Power BI; Alteryx experience is a plusWe care about our culture, but we also prioritize your needs!Benefits include Associate discount; 401(k) match; medicaldentalvision; HSA; health care FSA; life insurance; shortlong term disability; paid holidaysvacationsickbereavementparental leave; EAP; incentive programs for management; autohome insurance discounts; tuition reimbursement; scholarship program; adoptionsurrogacy assistance; smoking cessation; childcarecell phone discounts; petlegal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses. Contact your TJX representative for more information.This position has a starting salary range of $99,600 to $129,600 per year.Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
