LocumJobsOnline is working with to find a qualified Family Practice MD in New York City, New York, 10259! About The Position An FQHC is seeking a family medicine physician for locum tenens coverage. As much as you've heard about New York City there are still constantly changing things to do. Everywhere you look, you can find little coffee shops to stop in or bars to have a drink at after work! Take some time at Central Park to take in the sites while on assignment. There are tours for everything in the city so be sure to research what you want to do before heading to the city that never sleeps. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, including a 30-minute lunch and 30 minutes of administrative time. The clinician will see an average of 21 patients per day, with a preference for Family Medicine providers who can see patients 5 and older, though Internal Medicine providers seeing 18+ will also be considered. Required certifications include BC or BE, DEA, and BLS. COVID and flu vaccinations are mandatory, with no exceptions, but only the initial COVID shot is required. The provider will work alongside an LPN who handles injectables and an MA for prep support. The ideal candidate must have a NY Medicaid number and at least two years of experiencenew graduates will not be considered.
