For more information, please visit .Position SummaryNWH's Sales Support Department is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to provide excellent, dependable service to our customers. This individual's primary goals will be to maintain, and exceed, customer satisfaction and growing NWH sales. They will spend much of their time executing sales-related activities, including supporting the Outside Sales team, networking with customers, quoting customers, entering orders, managing order files, and helping troubleshoot any issues or needs that arise from customers, our production teams, or supply chain teams, while managing and maintaining a healthy inventory.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop a detailed understanding of NWH products, processes, business platforms and the hardwood lumber industryCultivate strong relationships with existing customers, establishing rapport, and proactively anticipating their needsCollaborate with outside sales, supply managers, quality control and transportation to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately in a timely and complete mannerIndependently manage standard customer inquiries, providing product availability, substitution options, lead times, and deliver accurate price quotes utilizing insights from current market trendsContribute to the sales efforts by independently executing program sales, order entry and special-order processingEffectively resolve issues by collaborating with internal teams to address customer concerns, including processing invoice and inventory adjustments, as well as handling credit requestsMonitor the order file in relation to seller and company sales targets and identify any areas of concern or opportunityKeep records of customer interactions and transactions, including details on actions takenEfficient and effective communication with other sales associates, customers, vendors, and various stakeholders throughout the companyAbility to quickly grasp and understand the operations of different order computer systemsFacilitate the onboarding process for new customersOffer tactical support to other business segments, as necessaryBasic QualificationsAssociates degree or bachelors degree preferred.MS Office suit toolsPreferred QualificationsWood products or building products experience a bonus but not requiredRequired SkillsPositive and enthusiastic attitude with an eagerness to learnExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with outside sellers, customers and other NWH departmentsStrong organizational skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environmentAbility to think critically, problem solve and work across functional teams in order to complete tasks.Ability to quickly grasp and understand the operations of different order computer systems.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to develop and generate sales and inventory reportsHardwood lumber or related experience would be a bonusCompetenciesPositive and enthusiastic attitude with an eagerness to learnExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with outside sellers, customers and other NWH departmentsSelf-driven individual motivated by collaboration and achieving goalsStrong organizational skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environmentAbility to think critically, problem solve and work across functional teams to complete tasks.Ability to quickly grasp and understand the operations of different order computer systems.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to develop and generate sales and inventory reportsWood products or building materials experience a bonus but not requiredPerks & Benefits:Medical PlansDental CoverageVision CoveragePrescription PlansLife InsuranceShort-Term Disability BenefitVoluntary Long-Term Disability Benefit401k Retirement Saving with Company MatchHealth Saving Account (HSA)Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee Engagement Center SupportPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysEmployee Engagement Events and ActivitiesEmployee Referral Bonus (No cap)Additional Information:NWH is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action employer.
