Title: EHS SpecialistDuration: 6 to 12 Months ContractLocation: Millburn, NJPay range: $30 to $35 per hour on W2 onlyJob Description:The Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) Associate is responsible for supporting all HSE compliance aspects of a 247 operation for a GMP Radioligand Therapies Production Facility.Your key responsibilities:Provide technical expertise, assistance, andor oversight for the HSE programs at the facility.Occupational safety programs (e.g., LOTO, confined space entry).Environmental programs and requirements for air, hazardous waste, wastewater, stormwaterHazardous materials shipping regulations.Radiation Safety ProgramIncident investigation (Root Cause Analysis) and correctivepreventative actions implementation oversightTraining programsAssist the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) by:Serving as an Authorized User and backup to the RSOPerforming radiation surveys and wipe testsAssisting with spill and contamination responseMaintain knowledge of and ensure strict adherence to all applicable regulatory compliance standards and internal company standards for HSE, including Radiation SafetyOccasional travelWhat you'll bring to the role:Requirements (mandatory: every candidate who is considered must have the qualifications described here)Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Health Physics, Health & Safety, Engineering or related field2+ years of health, safety and environmental (HSE) experience.English fluency requiredGood oral and written communication skills.Experience developing and implementing HSE programsExperience in a cGMP or equivalent environment with strict quality standardsFamiliarity with HSE regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA, NRC)Technical writing experienceShows the appropriate sense of urgency around given tasks
