Product Development Engineer

Contract W2 Role!Description: Provide solid technical skill and engineering support for design and development activities for new and existing products. Support current products in terms of cost improvement, manufacturing, quality, and supply continuity. Participate in hands-on execution of technical andor cross-functional project work. Contribute to a culture of innovation by proactively generating novel concepts for cost-reducing modifications to current product medication delivery products. Understand customer needs through competitive analysis, prototype evaluation, and clinicalsimulated use studies. Develop and execute test methods which specify measurement equipment, test set-up, measurement systems analysis, and data analysis. Write detailed technical reports based on design verification analysistesting for design changes and product design activities.Education:BS degree in engineering is required (Mechanical preferred), as is demonstrated ability to utilize statistical tools and computer analysis. 0-3 years of engineering experience is required, preferably in medical devices.
