At least 5 years of Subprime Management Required A leading domestic, 3-brand, Auto Dealer in Ohio needs a Subprime Finance Manager to further develop our subprime finance department. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record. Healthcare, Dental and Vision insurance options 401(k) Automobile purchase program No Sunday's and 1 day off per week Fast-paced work environment Responsibilities - Subprime Finance Manager: Develop and implement strategies to manage subprime finance portfolios Arrange for various financing avenues and present customers with aftermarket products. Structure deals for maximum profitability, making credit decisions and effectively closing deals Analyze and assess credit applications for subprime customers Work with sales teams to identify and target subprime customers Develop and maintain relationships with lending institutions Monitor and report on portfolio performance and identify areas for improvement Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies Provide training and guidance to team members on subprime finance practices Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and collections, to ensure efficient and effective processes for subprime customers Explain all aspects of a customer's purchase and options ensuring 100% satisfaction Process loan/titling and miscellaneous documents efficiently Develop and maintain great lender relationships Engage in business development to encourage referrals and repeat business Meet dealership sales goals Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index scores Qualifications - Subprime Finance Manager: At least 5 years of subprime management experience is required Must be a self-starter with a proven track record Experience with registrations, tag, tax, and title paperwork. Understand and comply with federal/state/local regulations which affect the new/used vehicle purchase and finance department Strong understanding of credit analysis, risk management, and financial modeling Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subprime lenders and dealerships Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, including sales and underwriting Professional appearance, exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
