In this role, you will build deep, impactful partnerships with retailers, broker partners, and internal teams, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. You will take the lead in sales planning, program execution, and strategic growth initiatives that drive both revenue and profitability. Responsibilities:Customer Engagement & Relationship ManagementServe as the primary relationship manager for designated key accounts, fostering long-term partnerships built on trust and collaboration.Align sales strategies with customer priorities to drive sustained growth and profitability.Leverage Chex Business Intelligence tools to deliver actionable insights and enhance customer experience and drive insights and results.Work closely with customers, brokers, and vendors to integrate Chex products into advertising, promotions, displays, and marketing programs.Continuously assess and refine sales processes and programs for improved performance.Strategic Account ManagementDevelop and execute sales strategies and plans in alignment with company and customer objectives.Utilize consumer insights and market data to create innovative solutions that drive category and brand growth.Effectively manage multiple projects that ensure the necessary resources are in place, while formulating an account plan alongside tracking actions and their outcomes.Develop and implement annual customer plans, encompassing merchandising, promotions, pricing, and product launches.Conduct category reviews with thoughtful analysis and data driven insights and recommendations. Present and gain new items to deliver sales growth.Analyze data to make recommendations and provide solutions to increase brand and item movement, including items to add or delete.Collaborate with internal category management teams, brokers, and vendors to optimize retail programs and maximize sales opportunities.Lead scheduled business reviews with key account executives to evaluate performance, review progress, identify business building opportunities and refine strategies.Partner with internal leadership, including the Director of Sales and President, to ensure top-tier service and customer satisfaction.Business Development & Market GrowthMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to refine sales strategies.Collaborate with the Director of Sales to identify and secure new business opportunities within key accounts.Maintain a pipeline of sales leads, aligning new business development efforts with revenue goals.Act as a category expert, providing customers with valuable insights on industry trends, product innovations, and competitive dynamics. What You Bring:Proven Expertise: 5-7 years of Key Account Sales experience, preferably in the CPG, food distribution, or broker industry.Sales & Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to engage with retail buyers, category managers, and senior executives to drive sales and business growth.Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Ability to leverage data and sales analytics to identify opportunities, optimize product placement, and drive revenue.Strong Communication & Influence: Exceptional ability to present, negotiate, and influence at all levels of an organization.Entrepreneurial Drive: Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.Technology Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM tools for data analysis and sales mitment to Excellence: Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and relentless in pursuit of sales growth.Location Requirement: Must be based in the NYNJ area with the ability to travel as needed.Desire to Make a Lasting Impact: Be part of and contribute to a company that values innovation, collaboration, and long-term partnerships
