Read our community impact statement here.DESCRIPTIONRanger Power seeks a Finance Operations Analyst to join its team. The ideal candidate will support the VP of Accounting & Finance on day-to-day finance support for the company; financial documentation, reviewing and editing Letter of Credit (LC) forms, compiling settlement runs for payments, and assisting with security deposit coordination. This role will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including interconnection and business development, to ensure financial processes run smoothly. The role offers the opportunity to be part of an inclusive, dynamic, and engaging working environment.RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze and support the implementation of best practices in financial accounting and finance policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.Review and edit Letter of Credit (LC) documents for accuracy and pile settlement runs for payments.Assist with security deposit tracking and coordination for interconnection and business development teams.Act as a connecting point across departments to facilitate collaboration and sharing of financial information (e.g., pulling and explaining financial data, reviewing financial models, etc.)Collaborate with accounting and legal to ensure proper documentation and compliance.Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding financial requirements.Support ad hoc financial and operational tasks as needed.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3 - 5 years of experience in finance, treasury, or a similar accounting or reporting role2 years of experience in the renewable energy industry preferred (or comparable experience)Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized individual with an aptitude for accounting and a facility withnumbers.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an analytical approach to problem solving, and thorough work ethic are essential.Experience with financial documentation review and compliance tracking.CPA recommended but not requiredExceptional Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills are required.Ability and willingness to travel to monthly team meetings and events.
