We're seeking a skilled Operator to join our production team. As an operator, you will support essential kilo-lab operations, assisting with the production and scale-up of small molecules. This position's main purpose will be to support daily lab operations by managing lab equipment, handling chemicals, and maintaining facility cleanliness. In this role, you will develop and hone essential skills in material preparation, compound purification, and maintaining lab equipment.About UsMironova Labs, Inc. is a small, fast-paced, manufacturing company with a successful history in the discovery and development of specialty ingredient technologies. ResponsibilitiesProduction:Safely operate and monitor chemical processing equipment in compliance with SOPs.Execute kilo production processes according to batch records, including chemical reactions, rotary evaporative distillation, extraction, filtration, chromatography, crystallization, distillation, resin treatments, and sampling.Handle chemicals and solvents (including hazardous materials) following EHS compliance.Safely transfer, weigh, store and use chemicals.Prepare, clean, and break down all required process equipment (e.g., rotary evaporators, vacuum pumps, extractors, reactors, glassware, Biotage systems) while maintaining complete and accurate documentation in all relevant logbooks.Safely operate and monitor chemical processing equipment according to standard operating procedures.Safely transfer, store, and use chemicals following EHS compliance. FacilityEquipment: Source and submit order requests for equipment, repair parts, and consumables.Perform regular (and ad hoc) maintenance, calibration, and minor repairs on equipment to prevent process interruptions.Quality: Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure that chemical processes remain within specified parameters.Assist in maintenance of batch records and logbooks.Accurately record process data, maintenance activities, and any deviations or incidents for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency response procedures.PackagingShippingReceiving: Receive, inventory and quarantine incoming chemicalssolvents.Prepare product for shipment - labeling and packaging. QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or training in chemical processing is preferred.Skills:Excellent communication, strong attention to detail, proficient problem-solving abilities, ability to work independently and collaboratively, commitment to cleanliness and organization. Experience: No prior industry experience required, though any prior relevant lab experience or chemical processingmanufacturing work is highly desirable.Knowledge: Basic familiarity with EHS and chemical hygiene best practices.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
