Senior Construction Accountant - Key Responsibilities As a Senior Construction Accountant, you will take ownership of financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities include: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Collaborating on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts. Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice management and collections. Assisting in payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments. Coordinating annual audits, providing necessary documentation and support. Analyzing costs, identifying savings opportunities, and implementing process improvements. Utilizing Sage Intacct for financial data management and reporting. Senior Construction Accountant - Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry. Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. CPA or similar certification is a plus.
