DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fluidics Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of fluidic systems for our cutting-edge sequencing platform Who we are:Stellaromics is at the forefront of spatial biology and multi-omics innovation, delivering the world's only true 3D spatial transcriptomics solutions. Our cutting-edge technologies are revolutionizing how biological data is visualized and interpreted, paving the way for groundbreaking discoveries and advancements in life sciences.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize fluidic systems for high-precision 3D tissue sequencing instruments.Analyze fluid dynamics and solve challenges related to fluid delivery,Collaborate with mechanical, software, optical and electrical engineers to integrate fluidic systems with instrumentation.Develop and execute test protocols for evaluating system performance, reliability, and durability.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve fluid-related issues in prototype and production systems.Create detailed documentation, including system designs, specifications, and test reports.Support engineering builds and system validation activities, ensuring smooth transitions from R&D to manufacturing.Work closely with contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure quality and consistency of fluidic components.Continuously improving system designs to enhance performance, reduce costs, and meet evolving product requirements Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of proven experience in fluidic system design, preferably for instrumentation in life sciences or medical devices.Strong understanding of microfluidics, fluid dynamics, and system integration.Hands-on experience with pumps, manifolds, valves, micro-tubing, and other fluidic components.Familiarity with CAD software for designing fluidic assemblies (e.g., SolidWorks).Familiarity with fluid modeling and simulation toolsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:Experience in high-throughput sequencing or other biotechnology instrumentation.Knowledge of fluidic system manufacturing processes, including injection molding and machining.Familiarity with reagent delivery systems and consumable cartridge design.Experience with hardware-software integration, particularly in automation and control systems.Experience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers to oversee production processes.Why Join Us:At Stellaromics, you will be part of a pioneering company at the cutting edge of scientific discovery.
