Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.Description for Electrical Controls Engineer:The Electrical Engineer will support an interdisciplinary team to integrate new equipment (machines) into US-based locations. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical system specifications, maintaining control of electrical project expenditures to avoid cost overruns, supervising contractors, and vendors, and managing project schedules. As part of the project team, you will drive conceptual solutions for our production processes and care for its implementation to meet project goals. Sustainability and safety are essential components for all our plant concepts.Responsibilities for Electrical Controls Engineer: Handle all electrical specifications of projects from concept to completionMaintain project schedule, control electrical expendituresEnsuring the system design and final implementation meets the project goalsSafety analysis, electrical safety design and safety chainsFull electrical integration of new machines to existing structuresRequirements for Electrical Controls Engineer:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical degree3-5 years related job experience.Strong electrical, electronic, PLC, and process automation skills on complex manufacturing equipmentFamiliarity with OSHA and electrical safety codes (NFPA, UL, IEC)Expertise in the following is beneficial: EPLAN 2D, Siemens & AB PLC's, IBA, SAP, Office Suite, Project ManagementSiemens Step7 - WinCC programming experience preferred.RsLogix - FactoryTalk programming experience necessary.ACDC Variable Frequency Drives - ABB, Siemens, Toshiba etc.Strong organizational & communicational skills to support and guide interdisciplinary project teams.
