Job Title: Facilities Manager SME -5584 Job Location: Los Angeles, CA 90245 Job Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 Job Summary Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly experienced Facilities Manager SME to oversee and optimize administrative and facility operations. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating key organizational support functions, including records and information management, mail distribution, facilities planning and maintenance, custodial operations, and other office support services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational efficiency, process improvement, and strategic facility management to support organizational success. Skills Experience Required Key Responsibilities and experience needed for the Facilities Manager SME:Current Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI is mandatoryA Subject Matter Expert is an individual whose qualifications andor expertise are exceptional andor highly unique as a facilities managerIdentified as recognized industry leaders for a given area of expertiseInitiates, supervises, andor develops requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programsProvides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, andor maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challengesissuesConsults with client to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutionsOversees facilities planning, maintenance, and operational support to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize administrative and facilities management functions.Manage records and information systems, ensuring compliance with federal and organizational policies.Supervise and coordinate mail distribution, custodial operations, and office support services to maintain a seamless work environment.Conduct organizational studies and evaluations to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.Lead work simplification and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.Prepare detailed operations and procedures manuals to guide facility management and administrative functions.Perform budget forecasting, financial analysis, and variance assessments to support decision-making.Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to assess business needs and drive continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with federal regulations, industry standards, and security protocols related to facility operations.Utilize data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms to generate actionable reports and insights.Monitor and assess regulatory changes that may impact business and facility operations.Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex operational challenges.Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage competing prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in government contracting or federal programsCertification in project management (PMP), business process improvement, or financial analysis is a plusEducation CertificationsA bachelor's degree is required; however, 6+ years of relevant work experience may be considered as a substitute of required experience OR an associate degree plus 4 years' work experience may be substituted by a bachelor's degreeA master's degree (MAMS) is preferred; however, a bachelor's degree plus 8 years' work experience may be substituted for a master's degree OR 12+ years of relevant work experience may be accepted in place of a master's degreein accordance with the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) Crediting Combinations of Education and Experience standardBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, disability, and life insuranceFlexible Spending Accounts401(k)PTOPaid Paternal leaveTuition reimbursementPaid federal holidaysSecurity Clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen.
