Our Client s a global leader in the healthcare, they are a manufacturer and distributor of oral care products and solution and are seeking a Cost Analyst to join their team on a direct hire basis. This is a global firm with fantastic benefits. $75,000 to $95,000 per year depending on experience Reasons to work here as a Cost Analyst: New facility with on-site café and fitness center Growth opportunity; promote from within Ongoing professional development and training classes Flexible schedule to work from home 401K retirement plan with 5% employer match 401k profit sharing contribution based on company performance Responsibilities of the Cost Analyst: Assist with plant financial reporting and analysis: standard costs, capital projects, cost savings programs, month-end closings, working capital management and other related initiatives activities. Monitor manufacturing financial performance by analyzing results and initiating corrective actions to eliminate unfavorable plant manufacturing variances. Report financial status at the corporate level via consolidated forecasts, results reporting, and variance analyses Assist in cost valuation of products in inventory for accuracy by reviewing Bill of Materials (BOMs), labor, routings and material purchases. Analyze capital expenditures to optimize resource allocation. Review daily audit reports of changes to product structure, routing, and PO prices. Estimate costs of new products and proposed changes to existing products. KPI preparation and analysis. Cost standard development for material, labor and overhead. Distribute annual transfer prices to all the foreign divisions. Work with the annual auditors to complete all audit work in cost and inventory.
