Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/31/2025 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Local Contract MRI Tech West Chester PA, 19380 8:00am-4:30pm (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) 13 weeks - TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY RESPONSIBILITIES: Schedule: M-F 8a-4:30pm, no weekends and no holidays. 2 years of experience and siemens equipment experience preferred Must be certified MRI Tech through ARRT and hold an active AHA BLS. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. The MRI Tech will perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort while maintaining compliance with established protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI scans following physician orders and departmental protocols. Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns to alleviate anxiety. Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper functionality and image quality. Administer contrast agents as required while monitoring for adverse reactions. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to assess images and ensure diagnostic accuracy. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical records (EMR) system. Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with patient scheduling and workflow efficiency within the imaging department. Qualifications: Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. Licensure/Certification: Active ARRT (MRI) certification required. State licensure as an MRI Technologist (if applicable). BLS certification required. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of MRI experience preferred (new graduates with clinical training considered). Proficiency in operating MRI scanners and imaging software. Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols, including working with implants and contrast media. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. #TB_HC Talent Burst Job ID #.
