Position Summary As the Property Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day to day accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and helping the leadership team make informed financial decisions. You will work closely with the Director of Accounting to maintain the integrity of the organization's financial systems, develop financial policies and procedures, and support long-term sustainability. Key Responsibilities of the Property Accountant: Financial Oversight & Reporting Assist with the daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payablereceivable, and grants management for multiple properties. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Prepare financial statements for multiple business units and assist with budget forecasts, variance analyses, and financial planning. Ensure compliance with GAAP, grant restrictions, and internal policies. Audit & Compliance Support all audits and prepare all required documentation. Ensure adherence to internal control systems and identify areas for improvement. Stay updated on financial laws, nonprofit accounting standards, and tax regulations to ensure compliance. Financial Strategy & Support Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by the leadership team. Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and monitor financial performance. Support grant reporting and compliance by tracking restricted funds and ensuring proper allocation. Qualifications for the Property Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in accountingfinance, with at least 2 years in a real estate or property management setting. In-depth knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Salary: $75-80K, depending on experience.#INFEB2025#ZRCFS#LI-KS5
