Our team is looking for a Program Manager to join them. You will report to the Site Leader and will have an onsite work schedule in Long Island, NY.To be considered for the Program Manager opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you: Bachelor's in Engineering, BusinessMarketing, Finance andor Economics 8+ years of relevant government, contracts, andor proposal lifecycle experience Previous experience working in a manufacturingproduction environment Familiarity with U.S. Federal Government agencies andor procurement processes As a Program Manager, you will: Review and select government sales opportunities andor solicitations based off capability, competition, history, and expertise Estimate labor, material costs, and profitability associated with new business ventures Manage the full lifecycle of proposals: analyze requests, prepare responses, and collaborate effectively with SMEs as necessary Manage the team through a stage gate process throughout the proposal lifecycle Drive Product Management, Engineering, Finance, Operations and Sales to achieve a common goal Thoroughly understand manufacturing processes, products, and procedures Develop and maintain positive relationship with Government customers Act as the primary point of contact for all new bid related activities and follow through Stay current with market dynamics, including competition, pricing, and lead times Ensure proposals meet requirements and U.S. Government compliance standards Implement actions to improve process efficiency Develop plans for attaining new business Lead continuous improvement projects Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
