Our client, a mission driven women's empowerment non-profit, is seeking a Workforce Development Program Manager is needed to oversee a workforce development program preparing marginalized women for careers in the construction industry. This is an onsite role in Baltimore, MD. If you're passionate about empowering women and have a strong background in workforce development, apply today!About the Job:* Oversee the development, implementation, and delivery of pre-apprenticeship training programs for various construction trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical).* Manage logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, resources, and materials.* Lead recruitment efforts to attract participants from community organizations and schools.* Provide individualized support and professional development coaching to program participants.* Establish and maintain relationships with construction employers, unions, and other industry partners to facilitate job placements.* Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and provide regular reports.* Supervise and support a team of professional development coaches and instructors.* Advocate for women in the construction industry at industry events and forums.About You:* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in workforce development, project management, or the construction industry.* Strong knowledge of apprenticeship programs, union processes, and construction workforce needs.* Ability to provide trauma-informed care and support diverse populations.* Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.* Bachelor's degree in Workforce Development, Construction Management, or a related field; certification in workforce development or construction trades is a plus.Position Details:* Hourly Pay: $33hr - $39hr* Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (40 hours per week)* Location: 100% on-site in Baltimore, MD* Permanent Salary Range: $85,000 upon transition to permanent employmentBeacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities andor protected veterans are encouraged to apply.California residents: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.If you would like to complete our voluntary self-identification form, please click here or copy and paste the following link into an open window in your browser: of this form is voluntary and will not affect your opportunity for employment, or the terms or conditions of your employment.
