TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for a Network Administrator working out of our office in Des Moines, Iowa. PRIMARY FUNCTION: The primary function of a Network Administrator is to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with the Vice President of Information Technology on major projects Suggest all hardware for the company Maintain software license compliance Operate system maintenance of all servers; including virus protection, system updates, and general housekeeping efforts Ability to administer all network Log and manage inventory Assist with help desk support Review applications, system and security logs on a regular basis Assist in preventative maintenance of computer and network hardware Other duties as assigned
