Our client is a high-end commercial real-estate firm that owns and manages properties over $300 million, and 1.5 million square, feet located in Midtown Manhattan. They are seeking a Senior Real Estate Accountant to join their team. They offer a very competitive salary and a great work environment. The Senior Real Estate Accountant plays a critical role in managing the financial health of real estate portfolios. Responsibilities of the Senior Real Estate Accountant: Manage the portfolio of commercial properties. Perform month-end close and produce financial statementsworkpapers for the assigned portfolio. Analyze monthlyannual financial statements Prepareverify accurate monthly journal entries Read, analyze, and abstract tenant lease agreements. Analyze APAR, project expenses. Requirements for Senior Real Estate Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of property management experience Mix of public and private firm experience a plus Proficiency with various ERP systems (Yardi, QuickBooks, etc.) and MS Excel and Word.
