Job Title: IT Support Specialist Location: Byron Center, MI area (Onsite) Job Type: Full Time, Direct-Hire Compensation: $20.00-24.00per hourWe are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide excellent customer service for internal end users throughout the organization, having involvement in user administration, device management, software & hardware support, virtual servers, etc. Great opportunity to join an employee owned company with a great culture. Key Responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist: Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting Windows OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office 365 applications, custom ERP system, and other related software & hardware. Administers user accounts in Active Directory & Office 365 Admin Portal, handling account creation, password resets, and access permissions. Identifies and resolves technical issues related to hardware and software. Device management using AirWatch and InTune. Logs and maintains detailed records of technical issues and resolutions within the help desk ticketing system. Escalates advanced technical problems to infrastructure team or necessary person. Train end users and develop documentation and instructions. Qualifications of the IT Support Specialist: 1+ years of IT support experience Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to educate non-technical users Experience with user administration and account management using Office 365 Admin Center and Active Directory Comfortable troubleshooting hardware such as laptops, workstations, printers, tablets, mobile phones, handheld scanners, headsets, etc. Experience troubleshooting and training end users on Office 365 applications, or other software application support Experience with Windows OS and iOS devices Familiarity with ticketing systems (Such as FreshService). Knowledge of MDM solutions (AirWatch, Intune) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Bonus Experience of the IT Support Specialist: Exposure to Data Center operations. Basic VoIP administration (RingCentral preferred). Familiarity with Palo Alto Firewalls. Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), specifically VMware Horizon and thin clients. Knowledge of ERP systems Understanding of DHCP, DNS, and other basic networking concepts.
