Our client is expanding rapidly and taking on a large-scale project, and they need a Project Controller to help drive financial success. OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT CONTROLLER ROLE: Oversee financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring accuracy in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Track project costs, analyze variances, and provide financial insights to project managers and leadership. Prepare monthly financial reports, including Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules and cash flow analysis. Review and approve project invoices, subcontractor payments, and change orders. Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with contract terms and financial guidelines. Support the month-end close process by reconciling project accounts and ensuring proper revenue recognition. Identify financial risks and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PROJECT CONTROLLER: 5+ years of project accounting experience in construction or a related industry. Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a high-growth setting.
