Job Summary:We are actively seeking an initiative-taking WaterWastewater Engineer your area that can be a role model, client-focused, impactful, and decisive. Work on rewarding projects within a diverse culture and have access to exceptional training and career development opportunities.Responsibilities:Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to conduct engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilitiesExercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternativesPrepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aidsPrepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profilessections within Autodesk Civil 3DOversee and direct data collection and analysis activitiesUndertake preliminary and detailed design activitiesResponsible for the preparation of technical memoranda, preliminary, and detailed design reportsLiaison with equipment suppliers and vendorsPreparation of technical specifications, special provisions, and forms of tenderReview of quantity and cost estimates for completeness and accuracyContract administration services during project constructionWork as part of a team to complete assignmentsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental EngineeringTen years of related experience OR demonstrated equivalency of experience andor educationProfessional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain licensure Preferred Qualifications:MS Civil Engineering or related field7 years of experience on hydraulic systems, water treatment, wastewater treatment, or similar fieldsBasic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as Civil 3D, GIS, hydraulic analysis, process modeling)Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointThe ability to work well in a collaborative environmentPositive attitude and strong initiative to learn and excelStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience with project management concepts and principlesWillingness to travel remotely on occasion for construction observation and client meetingsWhat We Offer:Become part of a company that is pioneering the future.
