Company Description:A Philadelphia-based real estate private equity firm specializing in the acquisition and management of opportunistic industrial and flex assets in the Greater Northeast region of the United States. As a fully integrated firm with comprehensive internal infrastructure ranging from construction to property management, we deliver an unparalleled approach to strategic industrial acquisitions and asset management, currently managing over 9 million square feet of industrial space.Responsibilities:- Prepare and negotiate lease documents, including lease agreements, renewals, subordination agreements, consents, and assignments.- Analyze complex administrative and operational data, interpret laws and regulations, evaluate alternatives, and develop effective strategies for tenant issue resolution.- Provide legal advice on property management issues, lease renewals, assignments, subleases, and other leasing transactions.- Organize real estate acquisition and sale closings.- Prepare and manage closing checklists and checklist calls.- Review, analyze, and summarize title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and similar real property diligence.- Facilitate communication between transaction counterparties and their counsel.- Monitor and meet transaction deadlines.- Manage tenant litigation matters assigned to outside counsel.- Oversee document management and retention.Qualifications:- Must be admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania andor New Jersey and in good standing.- At least 5 years of experience as an associate attorney or above in a law firm or in-house position.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to respond positively to direction and feedback, and collaborate effectively with staff and leadership at all levels.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effective communication in a virtual environment.- Ability to manage workflow under tight deadlines with competing and shifting priorities.- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to thorough and excellent work.
