Support various initiatives linked to improve the company's purchasing position, policies and procedures, efficiency improvements, sourcing and savings, and collaborative partnerships. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPurchasing:Assist with special projects, optimizing internal processes and related supply requirementsReview and update system data to include pricing, descriptions, confirmations, item detail dataSupport Buyers with market analysis, sourcing activities, and order updatesCollaboration with Purchasing and business stakeholders on best practices, issues, concerns, solutionsParticipate in continuous improvement activities to promote efficiency, productivity and benchmarkingData Management:SAP material module updatesStorage of documents into Purchasing document storage systemsUpdate and storage of information on department shared foldersOperation within MAHLE intranet and MAHLE connectSupply Management:Support resolution of invoicing issues, proof of delivery receipts, missing materials, handle outgoing transfers or repairs, etc...Analyze supplier spend information and support strategy developmentAssist in the preparation of presentations and supplier meetingsParticipate in multi-location cost reduction effortsProcess improvement for Accounts Payable issue resolution and foundational purchasing excellence trainingSupport system updates on changing prices, lead-times, other purchasing conditionsQualificationsMust be attending an accredited University or College with focus in the areas of accountingfinance, marketing, advertising, communications, supply chain management, business, or technical area of studyEntry-level experience with basic knowledge of time management, project management and prioritization, self-motivation, and desire to learnWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointAble to learn and gain experience in ERP systems, with focus on SAPExperience or has ability gain working knowledge of communication tools and systems that promote or enhance learning and communication    Do you have any questions?
