About the Chief Financial Officer role This is a key role which will serve as a right and person to the CEO with full financial oversight of the organization. Oversee AP, AR, general accounting and FPA. Oversight of all fiscal reporting Financial planning, budgeting management, capitalization and controls including ongoing process improvements. Work with large and small financial institutionsfoundationsinvestors to secure and negotiate new capital. Primary point of contact to the Finance and Audit Committee Oversight of capital development, budgeting and forecasting. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Key Knowledge and Skills for the Chief Financial Officer role Master's degree. CPA Preferred. Not for profit accounting (fund accounting experience) from within the finance departments of either a government entity or a federal credit union.
