Assistant Location Manager - Grain Facility IL

We are currently assisting a growing multi-location grain company in their search for an Assistant Location Manager.  This individual will be responsible for managing the outside daily operations at their main blending location.  This is a high-volume location with shuttle loading capability. This person will manage a team of 6-10 individuals.Ideally, they are looking for someone who wants to continue to grow in their career.  The overall location manager is going to be retiring in the next 2 years or so.  It is their plan to get this person familiar with this facility and take over for them once they retire.This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a clear path for advancement within a company.Responsibilities:Oversite of inboundoutbound grainMaintaining quality of grainMaking sure grain is of good quality and properly loadedshippedAble to manage team of 6-10 individualsRequirements:2 years grain handling experience2 years of management experienceTransportation experience: Rail & FreightWorking knowledge of industrial or farm productsservicesMust be able to maintain and develop relationships with customersSelf-motivated, ability to work independently and with a teamIf this sounds like the type of opportunity you see yourself transitioning into next, contact Michael Cargill at 402-243-1898.
