About the Organization and Opportunity: Our client is a company headquartered in the Washington DC area They are looking bring on a Manager, Accounting and Financial reporting to perform accounting functions and to serve as an administrator for their accounting system The organization is well-established and fosters a great sense of community The company values teamwork and flexibility They offer excellent benefits, including: 401K match, generous PTO and holidays and great medical coverage Overview of the Manager, Accounting and Financial Reporting role: Oversee and ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close and reporting process Supervise the production and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analytical reports Prepare and review appropriate journal entries, account reconciliations and account analysis Assist with the quarterly consolidation and annual audit Serve as systems administrator for the Great Plains accounting software package Manage and develop assigned staff Preferred Qualifications for the Manager, Accounting and Financial Reporting: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 3 years of relevant management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience MUST have working knowledge and experience with MS Dynamics- Great Plains and Management Reporter Advanced Excel skills CPA is a plus #LI-KC4 #INJAN2025 #ZRCFS
