Overview of the Reconciliation Specialist role:• Perform reconciliations for various accounts, including: Bank accounts Accrued payroll and payables Due toDue from accounts Asset accounts• Review and adjust audit entries to support account cleanup and ensure accurate financial reporting.• Identify and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with internal stakeholders.• Assist with documenting reconciliation processes and providing recommendations for improved efficiency.• Maintain detailed and accurate records of reconciliations and adjustments for audit purposes. Preferred Qualifications for the Reconciliation Specialist role:• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.• Experience: Strong experience in reconciliations, journal entries, and account cleanup processes. Familiarity with financial audits is a plus.• Business Central experience is a plus!• Forensic accounting background is ideal.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).• Functional Skills: Keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
