Please apply or call one of us to learn more For further information please contact our Talent Specialist: Vinod | 224-507-1294 Title: Engineering Documentation Specialist Location: Painted Post, NY Duration: 10 Months Description: 100% Onsite in Painted Post, NY SCOPEPURPOSE OF POSITION Work on the backlog of change management documents for melting forming equipment group. Work will be needed to determine the document state and to determine the areas that need to be completed. The Contract resource will work with the engineers and technicians to assemble the required documents and data to allow the documents to be processed for completion. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify which designs are affected by Engineering Change Requests Make sure the designs are updated with the necessary changes: Understand how the drawings are set up and how they relate to the documents: Verify that the approval process for implementing new technology is valid: Work together with engineers to figure out what is needed: Review Engineering Change Orders and compare them to the assigned drawings: REQUIRED SKILLS: 2-3 years experience Domestic and international meetings with engineers to validate required data: Knowledge of drawing and equipment configurations: Ability to create spreadsheets to organize data: This requirement is for someone who is proficient in using spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel. This skill is needed to accurately organize and manage data. Ability to understand budget information: The job requires someone who can read and understand financial documents, particularly those related to budgets. Interaction with engineers: This requirement emphasizes the need for good communication skills, as the job role includes regular interactions with engineers. Work with people from local and international sites gathering and collating scope of work documents and related PowerPoint presentations: This requirement highlights the need for someone who can work with a diverse team, both locally and globally. The person would need to collect and organize documents outlining the scope of work, as well as related PowerPoint presentations. Schedule meetings, including room setup and gathering require presentation materials: This job requires someone who can manage meeting logistics. This includes scheduling, setting up the meeting room, and collecting any necessary materials for presentations. Beneficial to have knowledge of equipment and process: This is an additional preference, indicating that it would be beneficial if the candidate has knowledge of the specific equipment and processes used in the field or industry related to this job.
