We are seeking a talented Electronics Engineer to join a premier employer and manufacturer!Please note that this role is not an IT Software Function and is On-Site on Long Island NYResponsibilitiesThe Electronics Engineer role involves supporting the control of electronic part requirements and ensuring compliance with program standards and specifications. Key tasks include:Source Control Drawings (SCDs) are generated and supplier control documentation is reviewed.Part program requirements, including approved parts lists, nonconformance reports, and test documents, are verified for coming inspection data, vendormanufacturer QPL, and certificates of conformance are reviewed and evaluated.Part-specific data packages are created, and discrepant material reports (DMRs) are generated and resolved.Data configuration, logging, and storage are managed within electronic databases, such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and Access databases.Coordination with Engineering, Material Control, and Quality Assurance is conducted to address part issues and performance requirements.Familiarity with EEE parts selection, characterization, screening, restrictive usage, traceabilitylot control, destructive physical analysis (DPA), and nuclear radiation requirements for space programs is required.Educational and Skill RequirementsA Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).A minimum of 5 years of experience in Component or Test Engineering.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access Database, and Product Lifecycle Management pensation and BenefitsIn addition to a competitive salary, the following comprehensive benefits package is offered:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceFlexible Spending Option and 401KPaid Time Off, including Vacation, Sick Leave, and Paid HolidaysAll applicants must be able to work in the United States without restrictions.*This employer does not provide sponsorship*Only those qualified applicants that provide a resume will be contacted.
