Senior Financial Analyst - biotech industry MA

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a multinational biotech company to identify a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a newly created position. Highlights of the Senior Financial Analyst Opportunity: The Company: US division of a global pharmaceutical company focused on developing disease treatments. They offer a startup culture (fast-paced, "all-hands-on-deck" mentality, growth opportunity, and ability to have an actual impact) while maintaining the financial stability of an established international parent company. Growth: Our client has a strong pipeline in place with one therapy in Phase 3 clinical trial and other therapies in Phases 1 and 2. Position: The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key business partner, evaluating financial performance against strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts while advising leadership on financial outcomes. Exposure: The Senior Financial Analyst is a highly visible role that will work closely with both the Controller and CFO. The Senior Financial Analyst's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide strategic recommendations. Partner with leadership to understand operational drivers and ensure financial commitments are met. Develop clear, actionable financial reports and automate KPI reporting for improved efficiency. Enhance financial modeling and forecasting systems. Support process automation and improvements within financial planning tools. Prepare presentations and analyses for leadership decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA or CPA preferred. 3+ years of corporate FP&A experience. Preference will be given to candidates from the local biotech or pharmaceuticals space. Strong financial analysis, modeling, and reporting skills.
