Analyzing financial information and compiling reports for the monthly financial package. Creating allocation journal entries for accurate cost accounting. Reviewing and preparing monthly financial statements for affiliated companies. Conducting ongoing P&L reviews to support the monthly close process. Performing monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations. Maintaining accurate fixed asset records. Preparing annual audit schedules and supporting external auditors. Providing ad-hoc financial support as a valuable internal resource. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 5 years of accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (experience with filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Familiarity with SAGE500 is a plus.
