Job Description Title: Network AdministratorCompensation: $95,000 - $105,000Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401KEnvironment: Onsite Network Administrator Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Network Administrator will be responsible for all network related items including but not limited to, ensuring a secure and available network, monitor and maintain the current network, lead installation of all network aspects into a new company facility, maintain network hardware and software, and respond to issues quickly and efficiently. This individual must have strong communication skills, to all levels of an organization, while being proactive and being detail oriented. It is important that this individual has strong time management skills and is comfortable commuting onsite 5 days per week. Job Responsibilities Include: Design, document, and implement network standards based on business needs Manage accessidentity governance and security standards for organization Manage, maintain, and monitor all network aspects including firewalls, routers, switches, etc for multiple locations Conduct vendor management related to aspects of the network and VoIP systems Perform proactive patch management and administration through active assessments and evaluations Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve hardware and software issues and prioritize based on urgency Serve as a project leader on various IT projects driving internal initiatives including software implementation (EPICOR) Perform inventory management for all devices including mobile devices Must be willing to occasionally work off hours Network Administrator Qualifications: Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Minimum of 3+ years of experience installingsupporting networking equipment. Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a VMware and Microsoft environment. Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with Firewalls, Routing, Switching, and VoIP Minimum of 3+ years of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects experience Strong understanding of VEEAM backup infrastructure and disaster recovery Knowledgeable in wireless and mobile communications, experience with MDM is a plus Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Must be willing to occasionally work off hours Network AdministratorApply now CFS Technology is the only Chicago based, IT dedicated search practice.
