Fund Accountant About Us:We are a leading institutional private credit manager specializing in the origination and acquisition of short-dated private mortgages. As an SEC-registered investment advisor, we manage a portfolio of funds and separately managed vehicles with committed capital exceeding $650 million. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Fund Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Managing Director of Accounting & Fund Operations, this full-time role will collaborate across teams to ensure accuracy in fund accounting, financial reporting, and operational support. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily bookkeeping for the loan servicing entity and other in-house business entities. Oversee third-party administrators in producing monthly financial reporting deliverables and NAV calculations. Work closely with investment, servicing, and asset management teams to ensure accurate accounting for assigned funds. Calculate and review quarterly income distributions, redemptions, and monthly management fees. Support annual fund audits and tax preparation by providing necessary documentation. Prepare deal funding wires. Manage cash and short-term borrowings. Handle investor onboarding processes, including subscription documents. Serve as a backup for other accounting functions, such as accounts payable (AP). Take on additional responsibilities as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA designation is a plus). 2-5 years of fund accounting experience within financial services, with exposure to open- and closed-ended fund structures. (Experience with interval funds andor 1940 Act structures is a plus.) Strong communication and analytical skills.
