Accounts Payable Specialist - Bring Your Expertise to a Growing Team! About the Company and Opportunity: Accounts Payable Specialist Our client, a well-established commercial construction company, is seeking an experienced AP Specialist to join their team in Beaverton, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to contribute to a dynamic accounting team. The AP Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting subcontractor payroll processes. This position requires strong attention to detail and experience in construction accounting. Key Responsibilities Process and code invoices into ERP system for review. Communicate with subcontractor vendors regarding invoice-related inquiries. Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents as well as create and track a database of certificates of insurance. Assist with certified payroll for subcontractors, ensuring accurate recordkeeping. Work with lien waivers, pay applications, and job costing. Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely payments. Handle approximately 100 invoices per week, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications of the role: Accounts Payable Specialist Previous experience as an AP Specialist, preferably in construction or a related industry. Experience with Sage300 or Timberline Software is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and communication skills. #INFEB2025
