Conference Room Engineer - AV/VC VA

Dexian has an immediate opportunity available for a Conference Room Engineer supporting Tier 23 video conferencing equipment and providing ongoing Video Conferencing Technical Support to our premier aerospace client. This position is responsible for resolving issues related to in-room technology, Audio Visual and Video Conferencing (AVVC) equipment failure, physical malfunction and software configurations and conducting root cause analyses to improve processes and trend reoccurring issues to improve service.The Conference Room Engineer will:Provide on-site broadcast and event support for client event structuresProvide AV Support at multiple locations within the DMV area as neededAs the primary user-facing POC for all VC related issues: Provide strong client level support to users, with a predisposition to de-escalate technical failsPerform break fix (user reported incident) tasks within target SLA response windowPerform maintenance and repair tasks on all VC gear to maintain 99% uptime and address all primary issuesMaintain accurate tagging and data entry of all tasks, projects, and requests performedForm strong XFN partnerships with local Helpdesk, Facilities, Events, Executive Support, and EA's of client leadership staffProvide white glove VC technical support for C-suite and high-level managementProvide VC focused support for high profile eventsRCA reported network related call escalation issuesProvide active monitoring of local and global VC endpoints and related hardwareTrack inventory of on-site supplies, consumables, and assets Maintains up to date knowledge of relevant industry standard hardware as well as proprietary tools.Collaborate with client engineering team on equipment issues and additional requirements as needed REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:10+ years' experience in an IT Enterprise environment supporting audiovideo equipment and eventsKnowledge of Polycom, Cisco, Crestron, and other AVVC related hardware and signal flowStrong interpersonal, customer service, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to be self-motivated and accountable in a fast-pace, independent environmentAbility to think creatively as well as methodically regarding technical issuesWillingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic client cultureAbility to work both independently as well as with a teamAbility to handle physical tasks such as lifting removing and installing large video displays and projectors, largeheavy objects and physical integrationmaintenance work This position requires an active Department of Defense security clearance at the TOP SECRETSENSITIVE COMPARTMENTED INFORMATION (TSSCI) level for consideration. Polygraph desired and will be required for ongoing employment. U.S. citizens ONLY are eligible for a security clearance and this position.LOCATION:This is an on-site position providing support at multiple facilities including, but not limited to Chantilly, VA, Crystal City, VA and Greenbelt, MD.
