Patent Docket Specialist TX

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Patent Docket Specialist for a leading global law firm. The Patent Docket Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the computerized patent docket system and will work closely with the Regional Manager of Patent Support Services. The ideal candidate is someone who has working knowledge of the CPI database, and over one year of experience with US and foreign patent docketing. This opportunity is direct hire, full time, and hybrid (3 days in, 2 days remote). Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the CPI database, including: Information related to each specific application, docket due dates, and remarksIncoming domestic and foreign client communicationsCommunications from the Patent and Trademark OfficeProcess and deliver incoming electronic communications according to departmental proceduresProvide docket, status, and maintenance reports to patent personnel and attorneys as neededQualifications:At least one year of docketing experience or equivalent knowledge of patent processesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work well under pressure and in a team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFlexibility to work overtime If you have experience managing an IP patent docket, we encourage you to apply!
