Nesco Data Center & Infrastructure is seeking a well balanced Critical Facilities Data Center Engineer in the Greater Ashburn VA area on a night shift basis. Nesco Data Center & Infrastructure is seeking a Facility Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of critical electrical and mechanical systems. This state-of-the-art facility supports large-scale, high-uptime clients, and this role is essential to ensuring continuous, reliable operations. This opportunity offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and strong career growth potential in a veteran- and diversity-friendly environment.Responsibilities: Manage power distribution throughout the facility and to individual equipment racks. Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and timely repairs of electrical and mechanical systems. Oversee contractors and vendors, including managing maintenance contracts.Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in a data center or related technical role preferred. Expertise in medium-voltage (25kV) and low-voltage (120208V & 277480V) electrical systems, including UPS, PDUs, and transformers. Strong knowledge of generators and CRAH (Computer Room Air Handler) systems. Licensed in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC fields (preferred). Comfortable using computers to manage tickets and workflows. Strong communication and writing skills with a customer-focused mindset. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. overhead.
