Accounting AnalystHybrid role in Marion, OHSalary: $90-100K Our client, a prominent manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join their finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning to drive the company's success. Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Analyst: Prepare and post monthly journal entries and generate financial reports for plant and corporate leadership. Analyze product inventory costs to ensure accurate valuation. Develop and refine long-term strategic plans, annual budgets, and monthly financial forecasts. Create and manage financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning. Provide cost analysis to support Marketing & Sales initiatives. Maintain and execute tasks in the SAP-PSI system to ensure precise data management. Collaborate with the Controller to analyze financial statements and identify key insights. Qualifications of the Accounting Analyst: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. At least 5 years of professional accounting experience, with a strong focus on financial analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant accounting software. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and sound judgment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
