Key Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for a variety of financial and operational functions, including: Analyzing monthly and annual financial and operational reports to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborating with Property Managers to provide guidance and oversight on operating plans, budgets, and forecasts. Approving and submitting reserve draws, third-party contracts, rent increases, and non-budgeted expenditures. Performing post-acquisition activities and integration processes. Managing investor, agency, and property manager requests related to financial performance and reporting. Reviewing property tax assessments and submitting appeals when necessary. Assessing insurance requirements and working with brokers on policy renewals and new coverage. Conducting market analysis to review and adjust rent structures. Performing periodic on-site property inspections to ensure operational efficiency. Handling additional financial and operational tasks as assigned. Qualifications for the Financial Analyst Role The ideal Financial Analyst will possess: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 2 years of relevant financial analysis experience Strong proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
