Accounting Manager Overview: As the Accounting Manager, you will be a key member of the Accounting team leading a staff of 4-5 and reporting to the VP, Assistant Controller. This Accounting Manager will oversee the financial functions of the company, and mentor their team with a servant leadership mindset. The successful person will have experience in accountingfinancial leadership within a bank or credit union. They will also have a track record of mentoring and developing staff, and the ability to partner with leadership on key decisions. Key Responsibilities for Accounting Manager: Oversight of month end close, reconciliations, general ledger, and journal entries Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies to support company goals Mentor and develop the skills of the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence Assess and improve internal controls, processes, and procedures to enhance overall financial performance Partner with external auditors and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Play a key role in special projects, providing financial expertise and contributing to the overall success of the organization Qualifications: 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting plus 1+ year of leadership responsibilities Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team Strategic thinker with the ability to provide insights and recommendations to leadership Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan with employer match Generous paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional development and advancement Hybrid work model with Flexibility Collaborative and inclusive company culture #INFEB2025#LI-BG1#LI-Hybrid#ZRCFS
