Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Shared Services Accounting Manager to lead our Accounts Receivable department. This role requires a strong leader who can manage and develop a team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with GAAP standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in accounting and leadership, combined with a passion for fostering a positive and efficient workplace. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable department. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy. Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and resolve financial discrepancies. Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the shared services function. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience in an accounting or financial role. Strong understanding of GAAP and its application in financial reporting. Excellent leadership and team-building skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Compensation and Benefits: Base salary: $130,000 to $145,000, depending on experience. Bonus and profit-sharing opportunities.
